A Shoreditch hotel is promoting a programme of spring events and partnerships as part of a broader push to attract visitors to East London during the warmer months.
Hart Shoreditch, located near Old Street and Shoreditch stations, has announced a series of exhibitions, workshops and dining experiences running through spring and early summer 2026. The initiative coincides with increased seasonal footfall across the capital as longer days encourage weekend travel and local tourism.
Central to the programme is a new exhibition by contemporary artist Mali Mowcka titled TRANSMUTATION – MATTER – SPIRIT. The collection combines painting and sculptural woodwork, exploring themes of personal transformation, growth and cyclical change. According to organisers, the works draw on symbolic imagery and aim to prompt reflection on emotional and physical development.
The hotel has also partnered with sound healer Maria Lodetoft, co-founder of House of Moon Studio, to host a series of wellness sessions. These include breathwork and sound healing workshops designed to support relaxation and mindfulness, reflecting continued demand for wellbeing-focused activities in urban settings.
Creative workshops form another part of the programme, with collaborations involving local artists such as Naomi Ese Agago. Events scheduled for May and June include live painting and candle-making sessions, alongside a theatre-focused bank holiday initiative with the International College of Musical Theatre.
In hospitality, the hotel’s restaurant UBA has reintroduced its weekend brunch menu. The offering focuses on pan-Asian small plates and includes an optional 90-minute bottomless drinks package. Prices start at £68 per person.
The hotel’s programme aligns with a number of major events taking place nearby, including the London Coffee Festival at the Truman Brewery in May, and SXSW London in June. Cultural activities such as the Hackney History Festival, hosted at Shoreditch Town Hall, and the Spitalfields Arts Market later in the summer, are also expected to draw visitors to the area.
