Who knew that standing on one leg for just a minute a day could add a couple of years on to your life? Just one of a series of fascinating, yet achievable things in a clever plan that can turn back your clock. At a gathering at the exclusive Groucho Club in Soho last week, the excellent journalist, writer and broadcaster, Bibi Lynch interviewed the award-winning doctor and founder of the Million Hour Club in front of an intrigued audience that included Premier Magazine’s Tim Price.
He said the group discovered how, learning from turning her own life – once crammed with stress, bad eating habits and lack of sleep, from being physically and mentally burnt out Dr. Alka transformed into a much happier, healthier and most importantly more youthful version of herself. She emphasised the importance of measuring genuine progress (utilising some of the tech gadgets now available) and how real change is possible – and quickly!
As part of her treatment, having ‘BioHacks’ that are genuinely reachable rather than being daunting, help her clients notice such rapid change – hence the 10 years younger in 10 weeks. As an introduction to ‘Longevity’ it really was an enlightening evening.
The Grouch Club Event follows on from an interview that was published in Premier Magazine:
Q: Longevity is being talked about a lot—but what actually is it?
Here’s what most people get wrong: they think longevity is just about living longer. But it’s not just about adding years to your life—it’s about adding more life to your years through the actions you take.
Longevity is a result of the lifestyle levers you pull daily, and no one person is the same. My Ten Years Younger clients are all very different but with the same goals – to look, feel and become younger. Together we’re not chasing average statistics, we’re creating exceptional biology.
Q: Can you really turn back the clock? Or is it too late after a certain age?
It’s never too late! I hear this all the time —and the answer is a bold, scientific yes, you can turn back the clock at any age. Biological ageing is a process—and processes can be paused, slowed, and reversed.
I’ve done it. I’ve helped clients do it. In fact, you can be 10 Years Younger in 10 Weeks.
That’s not marketing fluff—it’s measurable. We use targeted biomarkers, smart tracking, and precision strategies to reverse your biological age.
My own biological age? Thirty years younger than my chronological one. Yours can be too
I call it Younger Ageing
Q: What health benefits will I actually notice? Here’s what my clients say:
“My energy came back.”
“My brain fog vanished.”
“My skin glows again.”
“I’m sleeping like I used to 20 years ago.”
“I finally lost weight where it mattered—around my middle.”
We’re not guessing—we’re tracking. Improvements in inflammation, insulin sensitivity, visceral fat, mitochondrial function, gut health—those are the internal wins. But the external changes? Those are just as thrilling. Hair, skin, sleep, strength. Confidence.
Q: Have you experienced Younger Ageing yourself?
Yes—and it changed everything.
A decade ago, I was heading for burnout— demanding clinic days juggling family responsibilities. Then came the health scare: hospitalised on my birthday. That was the shift.
Now I live by The Longevity Lifestyle framework I created. Using data and devices to make decisions with precision, I reverse my age with the exact same approach I give my clients..
And I’ll say this clearly: ageing is optional.
It’s not just about having more time, it’s about having a good time, for a long time – which means regaining the vitality of your youth while retaining the wisdom of your years.
Q: What’s the first thing I should do if I want to be 10 years younger?
You need to find your unique starting point.
I always say: Go from guessing to knowing.
That’s where your LQ—Longevity Quotient—comes in. It’s your personalised score that reveals exactly which area of your lifestyle needs attention first – be it sleep, stress, sugar, strength or something more subtle.
The first step to transformation isn’t doing more – it’s knowing where to begin.
