
LeShuttle transported more than £500 million worth of supercars, hypercars, luxury vehicles and collector cars to and from the 24 Hours of Le Mans as thousands of motorsport enthusiasts travelled to the iconic endurance race last weekend.
More than 5,500 performance, luxury and collector vehicles were booked to travel via LeShuttle during the month, with the combined value of the cars estimated at more than £500 million. The figure highlighted the scale and prestige of the annual movement of vehicles between the UK and France for one of motorsport’s most celebrated events.
Among the rare and high-value vehicles transported were a McLaren F1 Roadcar, valued at more than £15 million, alongside a Pagani Huayra and a Gordon Murray T.50, both estimated to be worth in excess of £2 million. The newly launched Ferrari F80, which has a retail price of more than £3 million, was also among the vehicles making the journey.
Other collector and performance models booked to travel included a Ferrari SA Aperta, Ferrari 275, Lamborghini Countach, Mercedes SLR McLaren, Ferrari SF90, Lamborghini Revuelto, McLaren 765LT and Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Le Mans week saw a steady flow of prestige vehicles passing through LeShuttle’s terminals as drivers travelled between the UK and France ahead of the race. Demand remained strong throughout the period, with bookings continuing to increase.
The marques represented among those travelling included more than 300 Ferraris, over 125 McLarens and almost 70 Lamborghinis. Around 280 Aston Martins and more than 120 Bentleys also made the crossing, alongside over 20 Rolls-Royce models. Porsche accounted for the largest share of vehicles, with more than 2,300 booked to travel, including around 930 Porsche 911s.
Visitors to the LeShuttle terminal during June were also able to view the Hertz Team JOTA Cadillac V-Series.R show car. The vehicle represented the Cadillac V-Series.R Hypercar programme competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and provided travellers with a close-up look at one of endurance racing’s leading prototypes.

LeShuttle’s cross-Channel service carried vehicles between Folkestone and Calais in 35 minutes, providing a direct route for drivers heading to Le Mans.
