Blenheim Palace Food Festival will return this summer for a three-day culinary celebration from this Saturday (24th) through to Monday Bank Holiday. The popular event promises a vibrant weekend of food, drink, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities set against the stunning backdrop of the Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Now in its 11th year, the festival once again welcomes Raymond Blanc OBE as its headline chef. The acclaimed Chef Patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Oxfordshire will appear in the Festival Kitchen alongside fellow celebrity chefs Thomas Straker and Melissa Hemsley. Visitors can look forward to a variety of live cooking demonstrations and masterclasses from these well-known culinary figures.
More than just a food festival, the event features gourmet street food stalls offering flavours from around the globe, artisan producers, craft and gift exhibitors, and the English Wine Garden, hosted by festival sponsor Woodchester Valley Wines. Guests will have the opportunity to sample some of the UK’s finest wines and meet expert producers.
Live music, circus performances, and a packed schedule of family entertainment will run throughout the weekend, making it a well-rounded experience for attendees of all ages.
Thomas Straker, known for his viral butter recipes and the successful launch of Straker’s in Notting Hill, brings his philosophy of seasonal, honest cooking to the event. Melissa Hemsley, best-selling author and sustainability advocate, will offer her take on healthy, accessible food that supports both wellbeing and the planet.
