Veteran comedian, writer and broadcaster Griff Rhys Jones will return to stages across the UK in autumn 2025 with the second leg of his stand-up show The Cat’s Pyjamas. Presented by Fiery Entertainment in association with YMU, the tour follows a successful run in 2024, which played to sold-out audiences.

Known for his observational humour and spontaneous interaction with audiences, Rhys Jones delivers an evening of storytelling that spans a wide range of subjects – from childhood memories and late-night travel mishaps to social media trends, crocodile smuggling, and encounters with royalty. The show is largely unscripted, with improvised elements shaped by audience engagement, making each performance unique.

The Cat’s Pyjamas continues Rhys Jones’s recent return to live comedy, following his previous tours Where Was I?, Jones and Smith, and All Over The Place, which saw him perform to capacity crowds across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Rhys Jones is best known for his work on Not the Nine O’Clock News and the comedy sketch series Smith and Jones, alongside the late Mel Smith. He has also presented numerous factual and travel programmes, including Griff’s Great Australian Rail Trip, Griff’s Great Kiwi Road Trip, and Griff’s Canadian Adventure. His stage credits include leading roles in the West End and at the National Theatre, and he has received two Olivier Awards, two BAFTAs, two British Comedy Awards, and an Emmy.

Alongside his touring work, Rhys Jones recently appeared in the CBBC film Gangsta Granny Rides Again and the feature Future TX. Upcoming projects include a new Channel 4 travel documentary exploring the Southern United States and a stage production titled I’m Sorry Prime Minister, set for early 2026.
