Families can enjoy a Halloween-themed day out at Secretts Pumpkin Patch in Surrey this October, with a scavenger hunt, pumpkin picking, food and a range of activities for children.
The event begins with a family-friendly Halloween trail leading towards the pumpkin field. Visitors can follow a scavenger hunt route featuring themed scenery, spooky installations and photo opportunities before reaching the patch.
Secretts describes itself as one of Surrey’s biggest pumpkin patches. The family-run event includes sets, Halloween displays, entertainment and food, while the pumpkin field features a variety of homegrown pumpkins in different shapes and sizes. Varieties listed by the organisers include Harvest Moon, ghost, goosebump and Big Moose pumpkins. Prices for pumpkins vary according to size.
Food and drink will be available at the event, including a barbecue, pumpkin soup, pumpkin curry, pumpkin cake and homemade treats. Hot and cold drinks and children’s lunchboxes will also be offered.

Children’s activities include mini pedal tractors and a magic show, both priced at £3 per person, while a haunted house is available for older children at £3 per person. A Halloween fancy-dress competition will also take place, with the pumpkin fields providing a backdrop for photographs.
The event’s organisers advise visitors that the trail takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes each way. Most of the route is paved, although muddy sections can occur, particularly after rain. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Tickets cost £8.50 per person and include entry, a scavenger hunt sheet, access to the pumpkin field and entry into the fancy-dress competition. Children under two can attend free without a ticket.
The event will run on selected dates from 17 to 30 October 2026, with opening times varying by day. Parking is free. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
Visitors can pay for pumpkins, food, drinks and activities by cash or card. Tickets are non-refundable, although bookings can be moved to another available date or time through the booking confirmation.
