Affordable Art Fair Battersea Autumn will return to Battersea Park from 14 to 18 October, with organisers announcing the first exhibitors and programme highlights for its 2026 edition.
The fair will feature emerging artists, large-scale installations and curated exhibitions, alongside galleries presenting work for new and established collectors. Confirmed exhibitors include Cameron Contemporary Art, Columbia Road Gallery, Crane Kalman Brighton, East London Printmakers, Hanga Ten Contemporary Japanese Prints, Iona House Gallery, Kittoe Contemporary, Margo in Margate, Pigment Gallery and The Tolman Collection, Tokyo, among others.
British contemporary artist Charles Inge has been named the fair’s Programme Artist. He will present House of Cards, a six-metre-high installation designed to greet visitors at the entrance. Pigment Gallery will also show a selection of Inge’s work.
Based on the Isle of Wight, Inge studied at the Ruskin School of Art at the University of Oxford and spent three decades working as an award-winning advertising art director before becoming a full-time artist. His work has been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, Saatchi Gallery and Museum of Modern Art, Oxford. He received the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize in 2021.
A graduate exhibition curated by Jo McLaughlin will showcase recent work from artists graduating from 14 UK art schools, including Slade School of Fine Art, Central Saint Martins, Royal College of Art, Glasgow School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art.
For the third consecutive year, lead partner JM Finn will award a £5,000 studio grant to an artist whose work demonstrates exceptional potential and a distinctive creative practice. The 2025 recipient, Hattie Quigley, has since completed her Fine Art Painting studies at Edinburgh College of Art and secured a place on the Royal College of Art’s 2026–27 MA Painting programme.
Combat Stress will be the fair’s charity partner, presenting a Secret Art Showcase of small-scale original works on paper. Works will be available to bid on at the fair and through an online auction, with bidding starting at approximately £50.
Art After Dark will return on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5pm to 9pm, featuring DJs, welcome drinks and creative workshops. Family Mornings will run from 10am to noon over the weekend, with activities for younger visitors.
Tickets are available to purchase via the Affordable Art Fair website from 18 August.
