Get the best seats in the house. Right now the National Theatre is closed and facing a devastating impact from Coronavirus. However, National Theatre at Home has just been launched to give audiences access to content online.

A selection of much-loved National Theatre Live shows will be streamed on YouTube every week, free for everyone. It all starts this coming Thursday with One Man, Two Guvnors featuring a Tony Award-winning performance from James Corden as Francis Henshall in this hilarious West End and Broadway hit. Streaming from 7pm on Thursday 2 April. (Available until 9 April).

Then, streaming from 7pm on Thursday 9 April (available until 16 April) is Jane Eyre. This bold and innovative reimagining of Charlotte Brontë’s masterpiece uncovers one woman’s fight for freedom and fulfilment on her own terms.

From 7pm, Thursday 16 April (available until 23 April) is Treasure Island Robert Louis Stevenson’s story of murder, money and mutiny is brought to life in this thrilling stage adaptation.​ Featuring Arthur Darvill as Long John Silver.

Streaming from 7pm on Thursday 23 April (available until 30 April) is Twelfth Night – where music is the food of love, and nobody is quite what they seem, anything proves possible in Shakespeare’s classic comedy. Featuring Tamsin Greig as Malvolia.

The performances are free, but there is a form online for anyone that might like to make a donation of support at this difficult time.
