18 – 22 June
Royal Ascot brings together the very best of fashion, style, sport and entertainment. It is one of the highlights of the flat racing calendar. Steeped in tradition, heritage and pageantry, Royal Ascot dates back 300 years.

Tuesday 18th June 2019: As Britain’s most valuable race meeting, attracting many of the world’s finest racehorses to compete for millions of pounds in prize money, Royal Ascot is anticipated and revered the world over.

Whether it’s the arrival of the Royal Procession at 2pm sharp, six world-class races throughout the afternoon or the communal singing around Ascot’s Bandstand early evening, each of the five days in June is a whirlwind of excitement and colour.

On Wednesday the feature race is the Group 1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes. While Thursday is vibrant, celebratory and steeped in tradition being the home of the famed Gold Cup. As the showpiece event of Royal Ascot week, it is the world’s premier race for horses that are specialists over long distances.

Friday revolves around six top-class races including two world-class Group 1, a Group 2, Group 3 and two competitive handicap races.

Saturday is the final day, and as it falls on a weekend, understandably the atmosphere is more relaxed, however, there is certainly no let-up when it comes to the quality of the racing. The highlight of the day is the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes, one of the world’s great international sprint races.
