Located within the rolling green hills of West Sussex, the beautiful Goodwood racecourse runs it’s May Festival with artisan cuisine & exciting racing runs from 23rd – 25th May.
This fabulous three-day race meeting invites you to watch exhilarating horseracing, taste the finest local and national artisan foods and experience hands-on activities – all whilst enjoying the spring-time, countryside air.
With a jam-packed schedule there is the opportunity to watch Michelin Star chefs and famous faces doing what they do best in the kitchen.
For example, 2018 MasterChef winner Kenny Tutt will be appearing on the Thursday, alongside James Golding from The Pig, Matt Gillan from Heritage and Will Torrent, who is one of the leading pastry and chocolate experts in the UK, with an award-winning patisserie background. Goodwood’s very own Darron Bunn will also be sharing his wealth of experience with us on the demonstration stage.
Also multi-award winning rosé, Mirabeau will be running rosé masterclasses each day of the festival. Participants can learn the secrets of Provence rosé, taste their range of wines and enjoy bespoke food and rosé parings with their partners Bosham Kitchen and The Cocktail Service.
Visitors can book a slot at the Oak Tree Lawn bar upon arrival, there will be five sessions (20min each) of 20 people a day, free of charge, each day of the Festival.
Goodwood Racecourse has a reputation as one of the most beautiful in the world, framed as it is by views of the Sussex Downs to the north and the Chichester Plains and the Isle of Wight to the south. There is a packed programme of racing thoughout the three day event, and the finishing straight is lined by the bright white pavilions of the grandstand, where the fashionable gather to cheer their horses home.
